Sat Oct 29 – no match, nor training

We’ve earned a break this weekend…back to training on Tuesday, 7.30pm at Worthy Down, then a home match Sat Nov 5 (the first of 6 fixtures on the trot).

Enjoy the break, and let’s come back fired up to build on our good start to the season.

Just to remind everyone, we’re playing a friendly on the TOP PITCH at LITTLETON this Saturday (usual 9-10.30 timeslot; blue/white kit).

To allow us to prepare better, it would help greatly if you would confirm attendance (or otherwise).

It was good to see everyone this afternoon, and pleasing that you all looked so sharp. If we have no more disruptions from the weather, we play 4 games this month, after which it would be great to be still pushing for promotion and still in the Cup.

Jan 30. Redbridge. H. Noon

I’m assuming everyone can make every game (let me know if this is not the case), and look forward to picking up where we left off last year, with commitment, verve and a real hunger to play good football.

Sat 18th Dec – training OFF

Given current/forecast weather, proximity to Christmas, profusion of tired, slightly sickly kids and long list of other things we could be doing without getting cold or wet, training is OFF this Saturday.

Change of venue – Redbridge

Game is now at Southampton Sports Centre, SO16 7AY (ie, by the Ski slope and where we played our first EDMSL season all those years ago…)

It can take a while to park/hike across pitches, so please allow plenty of time to make 1.30 meet by changing rooms.

Saturday 11th Sept…back to training

This Saturday’s full training session of the season is at Littleton adult pitch. 9AM prompt start (to allow some of you party animals to leave early at 10AM).

To usher in the new season and allow a bit of a catchup after the summer, Bill, Jill and Matt will be serving quality coffee and hotdogs from around 10 at the pavilion. All funds raised go to the club…

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday.

Final Sessions, 2009/2010.

We plan on having 2 further sessions this season; this Saturday (July 10), we train as usual. The following (July 17), we hope to have a friendly lined up, so please let me know if you’re able to make it so we can draw up the teams.
