We’ve an 11.20 KO at Longparish Road, Wherwell SP11 7JP this Saturday.

Let’s meet at Harestock shops at 10.20 to go in convoy. Blue/White kit (but I’ll bring red shirts).

Well deserved rest, and revised dates for 2012

With 3/4 of our League season complete, we’ve earned a rest over the holiday period. Our cup win at Shipton means we play Ludgershall at home in the qtr-finals on Feb 2, which pushes back our League game v Stockbridge (a) to 18 Feb. So, the fixture list looks like this (weather permitting);

Jan 14 v Shooters (a)

Jan 28 v Shooters (h)

Feb 2 v Ludgershall (h) Cup Qtr final

Feb 18 v Stockbridge (a)

We’ll look to train on the Saturdays when we haven’t games.

After a mini-break, we resume the TWYFL quest at home on the top pitch, 11.25 meet sharp for a 11.55 KO. Blue kit.

The club is holding a Sizzling Saturday bacon roll and coffee extravaganza, which we hope will carry over until our match – any volunteer waiters, chefs, washer uppers will be welcomed with open arms.

Back on the road this Saturday, with a 10.30 KO away at Redlynch & Woodfalls Sports Club, SP6 2NW. Meet at 10am sharp – bring your blue shirts, but we may need our red change kit. (blue socks, shorts).

Plenty of good stuff last week, but also plenty to keep working on, so let’s have a good session with the coach tomorrow ?

After our fine start to TWYFL football, we play our first home game of the season on the top pitch; meet at 11.20 sharp, and bring the skill, hunger and enthusiasm from Saturday’s second half, for which well done.
