Wrapping up 2009…Kicking off 2010

Santa (in the unlikely form of the Tyro fixtures computer) has given us an early Christmas present…no game this Sunday (hooray), so the League year ends on the high that was the magnificent performance v Totton.

To help us laugh in the face of Jack Frost (boo, hiss) at Saturday’s training, please bring along some mince pies/seasonal fancies/pickled onions so we may finish around 10.15 or so to have a natter and finish ‘09 with a some social nicities.

We kick off 2010 on Jan 2 (training) and on Jan 3 (home league game v Weston; 2pm KO…let’s wear red again). Please advise of availability.

Sunday, 6 Dec. HOME tie; Leopards v S&D (TT Cup)

Let’s hope for a break in the rain this weekend, as we try (yet again) to play our cup tie v S&D. This weekend (thanks to some bizarre Cup weather rules), we’re at HOME, so it’s our turn to fret over conditions and agonise over the playability of the pitch. 1.30pm meet for a 2pm KO. Let’s stick with RED kit.

The new away kit

A number of you have mentioned it’s been difficult to find the cup fixtures on the web site. I’ve just updated the link on the results and fixtures page to point to a more helpful section of the Tyro web site, which should help.

Our next outing is a midday kick-off away to Weston Sports Youth on Sunday 18th October. This is a league game.

Well done to the boys and the gaffer for a 3-1 win away today against Tadburn Youth in the cup – our first win in our splendid, new all-red away kit.
